Jerome Naulais

Born in 1951 in a family from musicians, it begins the study from the music as of the six years age. It obtains its first prices of Violon and Contrebasse to the National Academy of Boulogne before beginning the study of the Trombone and obtaining with the Conservatoire Higher National of Music of Paris the first medal of Solfège (1970) and a first price of trombone (1971).

Initially soloist of the National orchestra of Ile-de-France (of 1974 to 1976) and of the Orchestra in the Concerts Column (of 1975 to 1982), it is, since his creation in 1976, soloist of the Ensemble Intercontemporain directed by Pierre Boulez. He devotes a big part of his activity to teaching. After having been professor of trombone at the music schools of Antony, Fresnes, Sevres and National school of Music of City-in Avray like in international academies (France, Belgium, Japan), he is today director of the Music school of the Musical Club of the Post office of Paris, from which he also ensures the direction of the Orchestre of harmony. He was also director of the Music school of Bonneuil-sur-Marne of 1980 to 1998.

He took part in many recordings of studio and concerts with large international high-speed motorboats of variety as a trombonist and arranger (Charles Aznavour, Harry Belafonte, Marlène Dietrich, Gilbert Bécaud, Shirley Bassey, etc).

Very early, it moved towards the composition by writing works for Chamber music, Orchestre of harmony and Symphony orchestra. Some of its works were presented to Japan, the USA, Canada and in various countries of Europe.
