Jehro

Jerome Cotta, alias Jehro , is a Chanteur French born with Marseilles.

Biography

Born in Marseilles, in the district of the basket, Jerome Cotta is rocked as of his childhood by the music since he listened to his father singer-type-setter " rivet gauche" to interpret Georges Brassens, Jacques Brel, Léo Shoed, Georges Moustaki,… It then will be influenced of music pop-rock'n'roll and reggae while leaving a few years food with London. From return in France, it will belong to the group " Solo" before launching its own career. It leaves its first album in 1999, entitled " The tree and the fruit" , launched inter alia by France Inter. It then will collaborate in the writing of several albums: initially that of Veronica Antico " Doors of the ciel" then that of the Marathonians " With tropical drunk person adventure" in 2003. It is there that it takes a new turn in its musical career to be directed in a different musical style, near to the Reggae and Calypso. Its new album " Jehro" in March 2006 left and was nominated with the Prix Constantin.
