Biography
Jeff Goldblum begins its career on big screen in 1974 by interpreting a shady rapist with the catches with Charles Bronson in a dispenser of justice in the city. Robert Altman directs it then twice, in California Split (1974) and Nashville (1975). Two years later, the actor turns, under the direction of Woody Allen, Annie Hall, then approaches a kind which will return it Populaire, the Science-fiction, while being found confronted with the Invasion of the profaners (1978) of Philip Kaufman, a Cinéaste with which it will again work on the space fresco the Fabric of the heroes (1983).Two collaborations with Lawrence Kasdan (Buddies initially in 1983 and] in 1985) later, Jeff Goldblum knows the Célébrité in the Timide televised series and without complex, then on big screen while being metamorphosed in Mouche for David Cronenberg in 1986. A Role which follow paradoxically several lean years for the Acteur, which reappears really only in 1992 in The Player of Robert Altman. In 1993, the immense success of Jurassic Park assoit definitively its statute of star and popularizes a little more the image of the removed from rim scientist to which it will lend again his features in Independence Day (1996), Le Monde lost (1997) and Like dogs and cats (2001), three nice successes with the Box-office.
Meanwhile, the Acteur will have passed by the Comédie (Last nine months also of Chris Columbus, 1995), the Fantastique (Powder of Victor Salva, 1995) and the Cartoon (the Prince of Egypt, where it lends his Voix to the Personnage of Aaron). In 2002, the drama Igby makes it possible Jeff Goldblum to find Bill Pullman, its Partenaire of Independence Day. Not managing to find a Role of foreground, it integrates the oceanographical team carried out by Bill Murray in the Aquatic life (2005) of Wes Anderson.
