Jef Penven
Jef Penven is a Compositeur of Musique born with Pontivy in the Morbihan the November 3rd 1919. He dies the April 30th 1967.
In 1940, it becomes the Leader of the Orchestre of Brittany.
Impassioned Brittany and Celtic countries, it passes the integrality of its life to be devoted to the cultural activities and artistic Breton: Dance, Choir singing, Organ, symphonic Music, traditional Music.
It adapts the poem Me zo ganet E kreiz rear mor of Yann-Ber Kalloc' H in music, song which will be interpreted by many Breton artists (Gilles Servat, Alan Stivell…)
