Jeanne Malivel
Jeanne Malivel (1895 - 1926) is a French decorator and engraver.
She is the inspirer of the movement of Breton art Seiz Breur. Originating in Loudéac, it restores the technique of the Gravure on wood and illustrates the book the History of our Brittany of Jeanne Coroller-Danio in 1922, but it also paints with fresco, draws projects of pieces of furniture, reasons for embroidery, earthenware decorations. It takes part in the International exhibition of Decorative and industrial Arts modern in 1925, by showing there with Rene-Yves Creston decorations for wood pieces of furniture.
