Jeanne Darlays (1874 - 1958) is a French Cantatrice.

Biography

Jeanne Darlays, girl of Pierre Felix Ziegler (nephew of the painter Jules-Claude Ziegler) and of White Hermence Lemercier, was born with the Priory from Soyers (Haute-Marne) the May 2nd 1874. One of the largest professional singers of the 20th century, it interprets with Elisabeth happiness of Tannhäuser of Richard Wagner, Valentine of the Huguenots of Giacomo Meyerbeer, Léonore of the Trouvère of Verdi. This virtuoso dies the September 5th 1958 with Vauhallan (the Essonne).
