Jean the Foal
Jean the Foal (born the September 12th 1924 with Marseilles and dead on March 1st 1988 with Paris) is a Acteur and Director French.
Biography
He learns his trade with the Cours Simon, with Jacqueline Maillan, and obtains a first price of the Academy in 1949.
Jean Vilar recruits it with the Popular National theater. It gives the counterpart to Gerard Philippe with the Théâtre of the Fields-Élysées in 1952 ( the Prince de Hombourg of Heinrich von Kleist).
Jean the Foal is initially an actor of theater, but it also makes many appearances with the cinema and on television.
Entered with the Comédie-Française in 1978, it becomes about it member starting from 1979, then general administrator of 1986 until its death.
