Jean of Orleans (1965-)
Jean of Orleans , second wire of Henri of Orleans, “count de Paris”, and from Marie-Therese of Wurtemberg, was born the May 19th 1965 with Boulogne-Billancourt (Hauts-de-Seine) and raised by his/her mother in the respect of the traditions. Named " duke of Vendôme” in 1987 and “dolphin of France” in 1999.
Titulature
Because
- of the 2nd marriage of his/her father Henri of Orleans, “count de Clermont”, nonin conformity with the dynastic laws and
- of the handicap (due to a Toxoplasmose) preventing his/her older brother François of Orleans from assuming its rights and duties,
But with died of his/her grandfather it was his father Henri of Orleans, “count de Clermont”, who provided the function of household head in spite of his remarriage.
It became “dolphin of France” on June 19th, 1999.
His/her François brother hardly seems to have supports in spite of his “Droit of seniority” and with the eyes of the orleanists Jean of Orleans is the heir apparent to his father like future “chief of the house of France”.
Career
He passes several controls (philosophy, right), which he obtains all with mention. He integrates then the University of California where he continues his studies and obtains a MBA. At the conclusion, it makes its military service as second lieutenant.
After having worked in a bank of French business then an American consultancy, it integrates a French banking group.
Possible claiming future
To ensure its financial independence like possible future household head, his grandmother paternal Isabelle of Orleans and Bragance decides to bequeath to him the share available of its heritage. He is owner of most of the forest of the Nouvion-in-Thiérache.
In June 2003, it creates association “People of France” having for goal “to support the relations between the people, to contribute to the good of France and its radiation abroad”.
If it were one day to become King de France, it would be it under the name of Jean IV.
