Jean of Luxembourg-Soissons

Jean of Luxembourg , dead the June 22nd 1476, was count de Marle and of Soissons of 1462 with 1476. He was oldest son of Louis of Luxembourg, Count of Saint-pol., of Ligny, of Own way, Brienne, Conversano, and Jeanne de Bar, countess of Marle and Soissons.

With died his mother in 1462, he inherited the counties of Soissons and Marle. His/her father was condemned and decapitated for treason in 1475, and it could not inherit its grounds, which had been confiscated. He died six months later, with the Bataille of Morat.

He had not married and its grounds returned to his/her brother Pierre.
