Warned tradesman, it actively directs a company which counts two subsidiary companies in 1408 (Venice and Rome) and eight of more to his apogee (Naples, Pisa, Milan, Geneva, Lyon, Avignon, Bruges and London). In addition to the workshops of weaving of wool and silk, it develops its banking while agreeing of enormous loans to the sovereigns and to the pope (of which Jean XXII). At the end of its life, 90% of its incomes come from the bank and 10% from the trade, and the subsidiary companies took an importance quite higher than that of the head office.
