Jean de Coligny-Saligny , one of glories of the House of Coligny, was born with Saligny the December 25th 1617, died the April 16th 1686.

It followed the fortune of the Prince de Condé and took part in its revolt; but having had to complain about him, he became his irreconcilable enemy, and made peace with the court. Sent as general lieutenant in Hungary to the help of the emperor against the Turkish S, it contributed strongly to the victory of Saint-Gothard, 1664.

It left Mémoires , a long time news, and only published in 1844, by Monmerqué; it milked there strong evil the Prince de Condé. These memories are in the course of republication (in 2007, at Axor-Danaé)
