Jean Viator Pilgrim

Jean Pilgrim , Latinized in Viator (about 1445 - died before 1524) was secretary of Louis XI of France, but it is especially known like the author of the Of artificiali perspectiva . This treaty, which introduced for the first time the concept of “point of distance”, was plagiarized very often, in particular in the various editions of the “ Margarita philosophica ” of Gregor Reisch.
