Jean V of Vendôme
Jean V of Vendôme (+ 1315), count de Vendôme (1271 - 1315) and lord of Castrate (1300 - 1315) of the Maison of Montoire, wire of Bouchard V and Marie de Roye.
He married Éléonore de Montfort, girl of Philippe II of Montfort, lord of Castrate, and of Jeanne de Lévis-Mirepoix, who brings to him the seigniory of Castres. They had:
- Bouchard VI
- Jean, lord of Layer.
It passes a good part of its youth to guerroyer to Italy to the side of Charles II of Anjou, king de Naples, then to Spain to support the candidature of Charles de Valois for the throne of Aragon.
It resides only little in Vendômois, preferring Castres. It subdivides the county of Vendôme into two.
