Jean VIII of Harcourt-Lorraine

Jean VIII of Lorraine , died in 1473 was titular count of Harcourt, count d' Aumale and baron d' Elbeuf of 1458 with 1473. It was wire of Antoine of Lorraine, count de Vaudémont and lord de Joinville and of Marie, countess of Aumale and Tweed baroness.

As of 1448, his/her relative entrusts to him told of Harcourt. In 1449, at the time of a rupture of a truce between France and England, it is sent by the king de France Charles VII in embassy near the duke of Burgundy.

In 1469, it is named captain of Angers, then seneshal and governor of Anjou. He dies beginning 1473, without alliance nor posterity, and its titles and its loads return to its nephew Rene de Vaudémont.
