Jean Ueberschlag

Jean Ueberschlag , born the May 29th 1935 with Folgensbourg (Haut-Rhin), is a French Politician.

He is appointed 4 {{E}} district of the Haut-Rhin since 1986 and mayor of Saint-Louis since 1989. He is member of the UMP.

September 17th, 2006, he declares himself, in the Alsatian regional press, candidate with the XIII {{E}} legislature (2007 - 2012) in his district which is favorable for him. Its substitute will be Pascale Schmidiger, her assistant of teaching with the town hall of Saint-Louis. It was actually reinvested by UMP the November 16th 2006 and was re-elected with the first turn of the legislative elections the June 10th 2007, with 58,84% of the votes cast.

It is a convinced chiraquien, member of the Club of November 4th, which supported the candidature for one 3rd mandate of the outgoing president Jacques Chirac for the presidential elections of 2007. It grants all the same its signature to the candidate invested by UMP, Nicolas Sarkozy.
