Jean Thissen

Jean Thissen (born the April 21st 1946 with Verviers) is a former player of Football evolving/moving at the station of left back, become Entraîneur thereafter. He played the Standard of Liege of 1964 to 1974 and then R.S.C. Anderlecht of 1974 to 1979.

It was selected in national team with 34 recoveries. He is trainer since 1980.

He became citizen of honor of the Town of Verviers in December 2001.

On its arrival, in 2004 with the technical bar of the formation of D2 Belgian, Royal Excelsior of Viron, to replace… Michel Renquin, theinternational one of the Standard of Liege and the RSC Anderlecht, carried out a beginning of course considered to be satisfactory.
