Jean Sadoul

Jean Sadoul , deceased the September 2nd 1991, was the president of the Professional football league of April 1967 with 1991 after having been president of the Olympique Ales of 1951 with 1957. Bailiff of trade which left its load after the death of his wife and her daughter in an car accident, he was president Ligue at the time of the great reform of 1970 abolishing separation between professionals and amateurs. He was determining in the rescue of OM in 1981 by granting exemptions without which the Olympian club would have quite simply disappeared. The memory of the Years 1960 and its many abandonments of large clubs pros was the obsession of Sadoul which pushed with the diversification of the receipts by introducing publicity on the shirts and massive diffusions of matches by television.
