Jean Sénac
Born from unknown father with Blessed-Saf in Oranie, the " poet who signed of a sun " , he was assassinated with Algiers on August 30th, 1973. Does its murder still remain, voluntarily? not elucidated (it was known tracked by the FLN and target of a close assassination). Algerian or French? Algerian undoubtedly if it is considered that this nationality by him was asserted. He sings the revolutionary fight in which he puts all his hope by its capacity to create a world of beauty and fraternity, in Algeria open to all the cultures. It associates its own combat with it: search for major, at the same time personal and cultural identity, and its fight to make accept its homosexuality: " This poor body also Wants its war of libération". Large admiror of Nerval, Rimbaud, Artaud, Broom.
Part of its files is deposited with the Files of the Town of Marseilles.

Correspondence with Albert Camus
Jean Sénac, the poet, and Albert Camus the writer, both born in Algeria, maintained a correspondence and friendly 1947 to 1958. This correspondence remained largely been unaware of so far. The new letters, joined together here by Hamid-Nacer-Khodja and its test the rebellious Son, tell us the history of the major friendship which bound the two men. When Sénac, young a twenty year old poet, written for the first time at Albert Camus this one is already internationally known. The Foreigner goes back to 1942 and the Plague has just appeared. The writer however answers at once Jean Sénac (June 24th, 1947). These two letters inaugurate an affectionate, demanding and trustful correspondence. It will last until 1958. The letters testify very to a time rich and bubbling: the two men speak about literature, the work of Jean Sénac is outlined and structure, Camus become Nobel Prize, several writers of the time are mentioned in these exchanges. This correspondence relates to as their personal history vis-a-vis the fight for the independence of Algeria, as Sénac supports of all its heart, with the war which follows and the tragic events which cross it. In April 1958, Jean Sénac who reproaches his silence with vehemence Camus addresses him a letter of rupture. " Camus, our Taleb brother has just been guillotine. I know with what a not I must you irritate, but what! Didn't I swear myself to be with you of an unbearable frankness? Those which would like to make you to it Nobel Prize of Pacification couldn't you require the grace of the Taleb student? " (introduction to a maintenance with Hamid Nacer-Khodja published into the Dispatch of Kabylie , cf external Bond 2)
