Jean Raffard

Jean Raffard is a Tromboniste traditional born with Orleans.

After studies of Violin, Harmony and Trombone to the academy of Orleans, it enters to the Conservatoire of Paris in 1984 the class of Gilles Millière. In 1987, it obtains a first price of Trombone unanimously, followed by a first price of Chamber music.

Its career also extends to teaching: holder of the Training certificate since 1992, he is professor with the National Academy of Area of Boulogne Billancourt (92) and professor-assistant with the Academy of Paris. Moreover, he is director of collection to the Billaudot editions. Moreover, it gained international prizes with the contests of Prague into 92, Toulon and Munich into 95.
