Jean Quatremer
Jean Quatremer is Journaliste French, specialized in the European questions.
He works for the French daily newspaper Libération since 1984.
Biography
Born on November 27th, 1957, he studied the right (specialization in private international law, right of the international business and European right) and was “workload directed” to the Paris II-Assas and Faculty of Law to Paris X-Nanterre. He also worked in a law firm to the Council of State and the Court of appeal.
He is charged with the cover of the Community topicality since September 1990 and is corresponding newspaper Libération near the European Union. He was also responsible for the late book “Europe” of Release between 1990 and 1992. Between 1984 and 1990, it covered the heading " immigration" and, more generally, legal questions.
Its blog " Slides of Bruxelles" , created in December 2005, obtained the price Louise Weiss European journalism on May 9th, 2006.
It carried out many reports for television (France 2, Arte, Canal+ Belgium) on subjects European or of company, and it currently ensures the European correspondence for the radio RMC after that of RTL.
He is also chronicler on the Europeus.org site.
