Jean Morette
Jean Morette is a Illustrateur French born on August 17th, 1911 1 with Valleroy, Meurthe-et-Moselle and deceased on October 1st, 2002 1 with Batilly.
Life
In its youth, it followed the courses of Victor Prouvé to Nancy. A long time teacher with Pierrevillers, the Moselle, it continued his activity of illustrator and author of works on the Lorraine.
Work
Its work is almost entirely devoted to the history of this province and the popular traditions. Many its drawings will be published in the newspaper the Lorraine Republican . It illustrated inter alia the bread with the hare of Joseph Cressot and the Cœur of the men of Jean Robinet.
