Jean Le Garrec

Jean Le Garrec is a Politician French, born the August 9th 1929 with the Palais with Belle-Île-en-Mer (Morbihan).

He is elected appointed on June 21st, 1981 in the sixteenth district of North (Cambrai: today Eighteenth district of North); elected official the appointed on March 16th, 1986 of North (poll proportional to only one turn with departmental lists); re-elected the appointed on June 12th, 1988 of the eighteenth district of North; elected official on June 1st, 1997 in the Twelfth district of North (Dunkirk, Large-Synthe, Gravelines); re-elected on June 16th, 2002. It belongs to the socialist group.

It takes part in work of the club Réformer, think tank political with Martine Aubry, Marylise Lebranchu, François Lamy, Adeline Hazan. In, 2006, he is elected president of association Alliance Employment Cities.

In 2006, he announces that he will not represent himself with the legislative elections of 2007. The PS invested Marie Fabre to succeed to him.
