Jean Lassalle

Jean Lassalle is a man Politique French, born the May 3rd 1955 with Lourdios-Ichère (Yrénées-Atlantiques).

He is elected appointed the June 17th 2007, for XIIIe legislature (2007 - 2012), in the 4 {{E}} district of the Yrénées-Atlantiques. He belongs to the democratic Mouvement (Modem) of Francois Bayrou

He chairs since 2002 the Association of the Populations of the Mountains of the World, global area network of mountain dwellers present in more than 70 countries in the world. He also chairs the patrimonial Institution of Haut-Béarn which obtained important investments for the shepherds of mountain and the safeguarding of the bear. The IPHB would seem to be in difficulty since Nelly Olin, Minister for ecology, required a detailed report of the activity of protection of the bear and valley by the Institute since its creation in 1994. Following the failure of its mission of the conservation of the population ursine of the valleys of Winder and Ossau, the IPHB is private of budget in 2006, and does not appear any more in the contract of projects which will bind the State to the Area. This organization then seems dedicated to disappear.

The localization of the factory in Vallée of Winder however constitutes a more important risk for the environment. In 5 weeks it loses 21 kg and suffers from falls of tension. April 14th, he is hospitalized urgently at the Poincaré hospital of Garches, which causes the intervention of the president of the republic Jacques Chirac, of the Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin and the Minister of Interior Department Nicolas Sarkozy. Those managing an agreement with the company Toyal Europ, the deputy ceases his hunger strike. He takes an active part then in the presidential campaign of Francois Bayrou in 2007.

Faithful of Francois Bayrou, it adheres to the Democratic Movement launched by this one. He is regarded as a brother by Francois Bayrou. He is elected appointed of Modem to legislative of 2007 following triangular, in addition the only one of France.
