Jean Larcena
Jean Larcena is a French poet, born with Sens (Yonne) in 1901, died in Paris in 1967.
With published, as of its adolescence, of the poems, initially inspired of its Masters. It is freed then from the models and affirms its own style. The catholic inspiration is very present throughout its production. Its worms are pleasant and technically extremely well elaborate. With mainly published its works on account of author, majority published " at the expense of the author and his amis" (in general in pretty editions in-12 and in-8 on Vellum or rag, limited to 200 specimens).
The town of Direction, where it was born, is often present, in particular through pretty evocations of the cathedral of this city. " Music of the Seine " , devoted to the evocation of the quays from the Seine to Paris, (2006) was recently republished by its descendant Vincent Larcena de Ribier (facsimiled original edition, increased Aquarelle S of the quays of Paris by the author). The simple and modest musical quality, attaching, of the worms of Jean Larcena deserves to be redécouverte. Of traditional invoice, this poetry falls under the purest French tradition, with a breath and a tone which remained constant. Minor can be, poet yes, undoubtedly.
