Jean IV marries in 1404 Marguerite, dauphine of Auvergne and countess of Sancerre. They had 5 descendants:

  • Louis de Bueil (killed in tournament in 1446), wife Anne de Tucé, rams of Clinchamp and Saint-Julien.
  • Pierre de Bueil, lord of the Mound-Sauzay, marry Marguerite of the Roadway.
  • Anne de Bueil (1405 - 1458), lady of Aubijoux; marry the 8/23/1428 Pierre d' Amboise, lord of Chaumont.
  • Marie; marry Baudouin, lord of Crenon.
