Jean II of Sancerre
Jean II of Sancerre (about 1260 - † 1327), count de Sancerre, lord of Meillant, Pondy and of Charenton-of-Expensive the, second wire of the count Jean Ier and Marie of Vierzon, Menetou-Living room and Soesmes.
Function
Jean II becomes in his turn count in 1306 with died of his/her older brother Etienne II. Jean built a fortress with Châteaumeillant, close to Saint-Amand-Montrond, about 1300. The June 9th 1318, the bishop of Maguelonne request with Guillaume Durand, bishop of Mende, it to make compensate following violences exerted by Jean de Sancerre , Seneshal of Beaucaire (Gard).
Family
In first weddings, he marries Louise, girl of Robert of Baumez, Beaumez or Beaumetz (1280), lord of Boubers, died and buried in 1322 in the church of the Jacobins of Bourges. In second weddings, he marries Isabeau de Mauvoisin-Rosny in 1323, girl of GUI III of Mauvoisin, lord of Rosny. Jean II dies in 1327 and is buried, like his wife, with the Church of the Jacobins of Bourges.Jean and Louise de Beaumez had 3 children:
- E2 Jeanne de Sancerre (+ca 1354).
- E3 Marguerite de Sancerre (E3), abbess of Charenton 1327.
