Jean Huber

Jean Huber , born in 1721 and died in 1786, is a painter Suisse, and father of the Swiss naturalist François Huber (1750-1831).

This former serviceman, member of the coterie of Ferney and close to Voltaire, is the author of observations on the flight of the Oiseau X (Geneva, 1784). He is the author of several representations of Voltaire, in particular of the Souper of the philosophers where he represents it with other guests.
