Jean Gruault
Jean Gruault , born in 1924, is a scenario writer French.
Born in 1924 in the Parisian suburbs. Initially tried by the trade of actor it is directed with his friend Jacques Rivette and under the impulse of Rossellini towards that of scenario writer. That will give one of first films of the New wave Paris belongs to us .
Then, as from 1962, it begins a long collaboration with François Truffaut with: Jules and Jim , the wild Child , the Two English ones and the continent , History of Adele H. , the green Room .
As from 1975, Jean Gruault writes successively three original screenplays for Alain Resnais: My uncle d' Amérique , the Life is a novel , the Love with dead . He also collaborates with Roberto Rossellini, Luc and Jean-Pierre Dardenne, Mauro Bolognini, Jacques Rouffio.
