Jean François Edmond Guyot Dessaigne (1833 - 1907), politician French originating in Brioude (Haute-Loire), it will follow legal studies.
It is Maire of Cunlhat (Puy-de-Dôme) of 1881 to the December 31st 1907 (date of its death), general adviser and president of the general advice as from 1901. Deputy of the Puy-de-Dôme, it will occupy various ministerial positions, in particular that of Minister of Justice in 1906 and 1907. Author of a bearing Bill abolition of the Capital punishment, it voted the law of separation of the churches and the State in 1905, and he is the author of the law of the January 7th 1906 on the condition of exercise of the Culte S.
