Jean Duvieusart

Jean Duvieusart is a militant Walloon and Belgian Politician of tendency social-Christian woman (Frasnes-lez-Gosselies, April 10th 1900 - Couillet October 11th 1977).

He was the Prime Minister for the outcome of the royal Question from June to August 1950. He was also Minister for the Economic affairs in the government Van Houtte then left PSC in the Années 1960 and later he supports the Walloon federalism and takes part in the foundation of the Walloon Rassemblement in 1968 whose he assumed the presidency

Jean Duvieusart also on the occasion, in political end of a career to chair the the European Parliament.

He dies out in Couillet in 1977.

He was the father of Etienne DUVIEUSART (1935), Avocat, Doctor in Right, laid off in Body of notaries, laid off in economic scenes. Etienne DUVIEUSART was also Député Walloon Gathering and currently directs the Foundation Charleroi Positive.
