Jean Dutourd
Jean Dutourd , born the January 14th 1920 with Paris is a Romancier and Essayiste French.
Biography
Jean Dutourd is elected member of the French Academy the November 30th 1978. He is also elected with the national Academy of Sciences, Belles-Lettres and Arts of Bordeaux, where he is received the May 8th 1989. Jean Dutourd was during many years leader-writer of the daily newspaper France Soir. Gaulliste of left, he is candidate with the legislative elections of 1962 pennies the colors of the democratic Union of work. Later, he will affirm himself and will be recognized as being largely line.
He holds a chronicle of fifteen minutes on Radio Courtesy (Monday, 19:30) since the creation of the radio in 1987, chronic weekly magazine until 2007, then semi-monthly since then.
He intervened a long time almost daily during the emission of RTL presented by Philippe Bouvard: the Famous persons. For a few years, he has answered the every day by telephone two questions raised by Philippe Bouvard and, once in the year, goes to the emission in the capacity as guest of honor.
He is member of the support group of the movement the Unit capétienne, where one finds the names of Marcel Jullian, André Castelot, Gonzague Saint-Breaking, Reynald Secher, Georges Bordonove.
He is president of association " Defense of the French language ".
Little before its entry with the French Academy, it was the target of an attack which destroyed its Parisian apartment, the July 14th 1978, attack which did not make any victim.
