Jean Duhaime

Jean Duhaime (born in 1948) is a theologist, a biblist, a sociologist and a professor Québécois. He is the senior of the Faculty of theology and sciences of the religions of the Université of Montreal, where he teaches since 1976.

He made biblical studies with the Université of Montreal and the biblical and archaeological École French of Jerusalem. He accomplished stays of research to Leuwen, Strasbourg and Orxford.

Interested by the Psalms, the Prophet S and the texts of Qumrân, it is very committed in the interreligieux Dialog, particularly on the Relations between Judaism and Christianity within the Dialog Judeo-Christian of Montreal . He is writer of the French-speaking section of the JCRelations.net/fr/ site

He also directed the Théologiques review and undertakes research in Science of the religions with the Center of studies of the religions of the University of Montreal. He is St-Albert-the-Large member of the Christian community.
