Born the April 6th 1873 with Saint-Sylvestre-on-Batch. It is ordered priest on April 5th 1896. It becomes Coadjuteur of the bishop of Angers on April 3rd 1924 with the title of bishop of Telmissus. It becomes bishop of Angers on February 9th 1940 until its death the 14 spetembre 1950.
