Jean Béliveau (1955 -) is a walker Québécois which made the round the world tour in 12 years. It carried out this walk within the framework of the international Décennie of the promotion of a culture of non-violence and peace with the profit of the children of the world. Its walk was recognized by UNESCO.
It left during the day sound 45e birthday of Quebec. It crossed the the United States, the Mexico, the South America, then all the Africa.
In 2006, it is in Europe and more precisely in Germany in October. In April 2007, it will reach Istanbul where it will finish its walk in Europe. It will start then the following portion of its tour in Asia.
During its tour,
- It met Nelson Mandela, Nobel Prize of peace in 1993.
