Jean Argyropoulos
Jean Argyropoulos (1410, Constantinople - 1486) is humanistic and philosopher, and one of the first instigators of the rebirth. It had as raises Constantin Lascaris.
Biography
Born in Constantinople, it came since 1434 to Padoue, and professed philosophy there. It was called in 1456 with Florence by Cosme de Médicis, taught the Greek with the son and the nephew of this lord, like with famous the Politien. It went to Rome in 1480, and professed there the philosophy of Aristote.
Works
It left Latin translations of Aristote, of which the Physique , the Morale and several other works.
