Jean Allard
Jean Allard (Angleur, on June 16th, 1901 - Jupille, on January 8th, 1969) is a Belgian Politician and Walloon militant.
Laid off in administrative sciences, it is to advise communal of Angleur then communal secretary of Liege. During the Second world war, it belongs to Resistance and adheres to free Wallonia. It is senator co-opted 1947 with 1949 then directly elected senator of 1949 with 1968. In front of the failure of the proposal for a revision of the Constitution deposited in 1947 by the Walloon deputies who carry out thus the decisions of the Walloon National congress, it files in a bill which envisages the creation of advisory counsels for the Flanders, the Wallonia and Brussels. He also collaborates in the Center Harmel and adheres to the Walloon Popular movement to his creation in 1961.
