Jean-Yves Lafesse

Jean-Yves Lafesse , born the March 13rd 1957 with Pontivy, of its true name Jean-Yves Lambert, is a humorist French. He is known for his telephone hoaxes and his gags near the passers by in the street.

Biography

Jean-Yves Lafesse knows an agitated childhood. In 1975, he is initially singer in a group Punk rock'n'roll with London, then resumes its studies and follows courses of cinema. Its career begins truly with the advent of the free radios in 1981: it makes its beginnings as an organizer on Radio Carbon-14 where one could intend it to reproach Coluche for being itself embourgeoized. It is on Radio Nova that it begins his famous impostures and continuous on Europe 1. On this radio, the listeners could hear it each morning, during several years to make innumerable jokes under the pseudonyms Mr. Delaplace or Mrs. Ledoux . It becomes also one of the figures of Canal+ while surveying, the eye with the mounting, the downtown areas, the fairs and other living rooms with the meeting of the often naive passers by. It generally begins its Sketch S with “Good evening, that cannot last” and finishes on “Provided that lasts! ”. Always for Canal+, Lafesse carries out in 2002 Unique with monde.com : it attracts this time the passers by in a strange truck.

It takes part in some feature-length films and carries out Publicité S like that on the meat of Bœuf in 2004 and 2005 (5 spots). He wrote great telephone impostures in 1994 and Petit precis Of imposture in 1996.

Businesses

After having made assign by its lawyers a webmaster which used 15 of its sketches put on line to return the Net surfers towards sites paying porns, then another which earned money via publicity by using its vidéos without requiring once again its authorization, it obtained justice of the Damages.

The June 15th 2007 it assigns in justice the sites YouTube, Dailymotion and MySpace has which it claims 8 million euros respectively, 1,5 million euros and a call to order for illegal diffusion of some of its sketches. Other assignments are already in preparation like some actions with the penal one. The July 7th 2007 it gained its lawsuit against the site of video MySpace. Concretely, Internet site had to pour 61.000 euros with l humorist to have let diffuse free its sketches without its authorization. The american company was also condemned to remove the litigious page Internet on which the sketches were diffused
