Jean-Vincent Baker

Jean-Vincent Fournier (Montreal, June 6th, 1960 -) is a scenario writer Québécois (in the past accessories supplier). Wire of the translator Jean-Pierre Baker, he is the nephew of the well-known Cinéaste S Guy and Claude Fournier. He also made some small appearances as an actor.

Biography

That which one will call later JVF is born with Montreal in a family of scenario writers. His/her father is translator, Guy and Claude Fournier is two of his uncles. It is thus " quite naturally " that it moves towards the cinema at the end of its adolescence, marked in particular by the participation in Katimavik, experiment which it " marquera" and will inspire it throughout its career.

In 1988, JVF, then 28 years old, moves in definitively in Paris, after having met that which will become the mother of its children (two, Jules, born in 1992, and Felix, born in 2000), Anne Molfessis.

Work

It is into 2004 that its first feature film as a scenario writer, Vendus (realized by Eric Tessier) leaves to the cinema. It does not obtain discounted success. Before this feature film, Fournier took part in other films and telefilms, of which:
