Jean-Thierry Bushel
Jean-Thierry Boisseau , born in 1949 is a Compositeur, author and Poète French.
Biography
Jean-Thierry Boisseau was born in a favoured musical medium, since he is the son of famous the Organ builder Robert Boisseau. Raise Jean-Albert Villard, organist of the Cathédrale Saint-Pierre of Poitiers, it near him acquired a practical solid of the harmony and a taste of the counterpoint which one will note the importance with the listening of his works; it also holds of this first Master a taste of the improvisation of which it was never separated. Its meeting with Antoine Tisné was it also decisive. It is indeed with its contact that it found or rather confirmed its choices esthetic and formalized its compositionnelles procedures.
The music of Jean-Thierry Boisseau is strongly contrapuntic; it uses certainly a tonal vocabulary but with an aim of diverting it permanently and of leaving it conventions. Jean-Thierry Boisseau in addition explores the musics of the world and integrates them in a strongly structured musical speech. It privileges the meetings with the foreign musicians. Thus it was brought to compose for the American saxophonist Paul Wehage, the Japanese pianist Moyuru Maeda, the American Soprano Sheila Harris-Jackson and the organist Carson Cooman.
