Jean-Sebastien Giguère

Jean-Sebastien Giguère (born the May 16th 1977 with Montreal with the Canada) is a player of professional Hockey of the National league of hockey evolving/moving with the Ducks d' Anaheim.

Career

It was fished out by the Whalers de Hartford at the time of the Repêchage of entry in the LNH 1995, with the 13th position. This goalkeeper briefly carried the colors of Whalers and the Flames of Calgary at the beginning of its career before joining Mighty Ducks d' Anaheim with which it really started to play regularly.

In 2002-2003, Giguère knew one remarkable season, gaining 34 victories and signing 8 washings. Spring 2003, its good services at the time of the eliminatory series made it possible Mighty Ducks to go until the final of the Coupe Stanley which they lost against the Devils of the New Jersey. Giguère gained the Trophée Idiot Smythe given to the player most useful to his team during the eliminatory series.

It gained the Coupe Stanley 2007 against the Senators d' Ottawa in five matches. It is even allowed to carry out a Blanchissage at the time of the second match of the finale.
