Jean Rene Cruchet was a French doctor, born the March 21st 1875 with Bordeaux, deceased in 1959.

He makes his medical studies with Bordeaux where he obtains his doctorate in 1902 and becomes Senior registrar. He is named Médecin of the hospitals in 1907 and is incorporated the same year. In 1920 he is full professor of general pathology and therapeutic. In 1926 finally, it reaches the pulpit of Pédiatrie of Bordeaux.
Its principal fields of research were the tics, the spasmodic stiff neck, the epidemic encéphalite and the evil of the air.
