Jean-Pierre Richard

Jean-Pierre Richard , born with Marseilles the July 15th 1922, French writer and critical.

Biography

Entered with the National university of the street of Ulm in 1941, aggregate of letters in 1945, arts doctor in 1962, it teaches the literature in foreign universities then in France where it is elected with the Université of Paris IV in 1978.

Since the publication of Literature and Sensation which reveals it in 1954, it did not cease exploring the bond which links, at writers of the {{XIXe}} and 20th century, the writing and the intimate experiment of the world. Thus, in connection with Stendhal, Flaubert, Fromentin and the Goncourt, to which this first test is devoted, it puts at the day the importance material universe and feelings which it defines. In Poetry and Profondeur , it specifies the stake of its study: to find “moment first literary creation”; to seize the moment when of the same project the man, the writer and work build themselves.
