Biography

After two years of study at the National school of Decorative Arts, Jean-Pierre Poisson works with a Chinese painter who forms it with Chinese painting and penmanship. Its attraction for the foreign countries and their culture makes it travel during many years, of the East to Northern Europe, Africa in Americas. It soaks with the local cultures and attends various workshops of painters like those of the movement Poto Poto in Congo.

The environments, colors and odors perceived during these many years impregnated its feelings, nouveau riche his pallet and his emotions. It makes us travel in new worlds worked by its imaginary, dubious landscapes at the border of the abstract and the figurative one.
