Jean-Pierre Monseré
Jean-Pierre Monseré (born the September 8th 1948 with Roulers - died the March 15th 1971) was a Belgian racing cyclist, professional of 1969 with 1971 with the center the team Flandria.

Jean-Pierre Monseré gained the Tour of Lombardy 1969, after the downgrading, for doping, of Dutch Gerben Karstens, then, the following year, the August 16th 1970, it gained, under a strong wind, over the undulating circuit of 15,108km to traverse 18 times (that is to say 271,96km) of Leicester (Great Britain), the championship of the world on road by beating the Danish Leif Mortensen (2nd) with 2" and the Italy N Felice Gimondi (3rd).Member - at the sides of the brothers Eric and Roger de Vlaeminck - group “Flandria” directed by Albéric Schotte, Monseré let foresee a great career of champion cycle.
In March 1971, it is accidentally deceased in race with the Grand Prix of Rétié, whereas it carried the Maillot rainbow. it was old only of 22 years and half.
