Jean-Pierre Michel
Jean-Pierre Michel is a former magistrate, member of the Syndicat of the magistrature (SM), and French politician born the August 5th 1938.
After a first failure in 1978, he was elected appointed Haute-Saône at the time of the vague pink of 1981 on behalf of the Socialist party. Constantly re-elected it took as from 1992 the label of the Mouvement of the citizens, whom it leaves in 2002 to found the Association for a Republican left (AGR). It is beaten in 2002 by Maryvonne Briot.
It was one of the promoters of the Civil pact of solidarity (PACS).
In May 2004, it joined the Socialist party with the current Nouveau World and is elected senator of Haute-Saône in September 2004.
