Jean-Pierre Mangin
Jean-Pierre Mangin (born the October 26th 1937) is a philatelist French specialized in the research of the errors on the postage stamps. He is the author of a world Guide of the erroneous stamps .
Member corresponding of the Academy of philately as from January 1989, he was regular member of the 34e seat in June 1994 before being erased about it in December 2005. He was also president of the European Académie of philately of January 2000 to his resignation of June 6th, 2007 and of which he is erased the next on June 15th. Erased of Réal Academia Hispanica de Philatelia, he resigns of the Club of the philatelic elite of Monaco.
In the years 2000, it carries out for the Echo of the timbrology a heading on the erroneous stamps discovered by the readers.
Works
Jean-Pierre Mangin wrote many articles for magazines and philatelic reviews, in particular the philatelic Documents of the Academy of philately.
