Jean-Pierre Kalfon

Jean-Pierre Kalfon born the October 30th 1938 with Paris, is an actor, realizer, actor and singer French. He works in his youth with the Folies Shepherdesses then launches out in the theater and founds his own company " Theater 15" where he is actor and director.

He begins with the cinema in 1962 with the Concerto from the fear , the drug of the defect of Jose Bénazéraf. He becomes very close to Pierre Clémenti and a young band of actors, around Marc' O. He turns then with Jean-Luc Godard (Weekend), Philippe Garrel (Bed of the virgin), Claude Lelouch with which he makes seven films.

He founded a rock'n'roll group of which he is the singer “Kalfon Rock hot” and played in more than 65 feature-length films. Subscribed to the turbid characters, it turns with François Truffaut ( Vivement Sunday! ), Claude Chabrol ( the Cry of the owl ). In parallel, it accepts the proposals of a more popular cinema with Folle of it or Gamer .

Jean-Pierre Kalfon incarnated a Louis XIV secrecy in Saint-Cyr military school , a director in the Repetition , a caïd in Total Western .
