Jean-Pierre Jeunet
Jean-Pierre Jeunet is a Réalisateur and Scénariste French, born the September 3rd 1953 with Roanne, the Loire (France).
Before starting his career with the cinema, Jean-Pierre Jeunet worked as technician in France Telecom with Nancy.
Its films mix the fantastic one with reality in various proportions, either by creating fantastic universes starting from daily elements, in particular urban ( Delicatessen , the City of the lost children ), or while emphasizing the elements of the chance in the daily newspaper ( the Fabulous Destiny of Amélie Poulain ). Its films always comprise a share of childish humor, even when it treats horror (such as for example in Alien, resurrection the wheel chair of Dominique Pinon or the system of opening of doors with the breath). Jean-Pierre Jeunet was the first President of the cinema festival of Foa, in New Caledonia, 1999. In 2007, he refused the station of realizer of the film Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, work drawn from the book of the same name, wrote by J.K.Rowling. It is finally David Yates which obtained this station.
