Jean-Pierre Gaudreau
Jean-Pierre Gaudreau is a Poète Québécois born on March 15th, 1950 with Montreal. He makes literary studies with the Université of Aix-Marseilles I where he obtains a control in modern letters in 1975. He then supplements, in 1989, a control in sciences of education to the Université of Montreal. Teaching the literature with the College Jean-with-Brébeuf of 1976 to 2001, it also occupies the station there education adviser as from 1995. After a stay at the Commission of evaluation of the collegial teaching of the Minister of education of Quebec like agent of research, he becomes education adviser with the Collège of Maisonneuve. Jean-Pierre Gaudreau collaborates in the Québécois literary reviews such as Brèves arts persons, Entrelacs, Estuaire, Exit and Moebius. He also took part in the anthology of poetry the love of you published by Anne Peyrouse with the editions of the Wolf of Gutter in 2003. Member of the reading panel of the review Short arts persons (shutter poetry), it animates also workshops of poetic writing and takes part in public readings.
Finalist with the Literary prizes of the Company Radio-Canada in the poetry category in 1996, he is prize winner, in 2000, of the second Prix Salvatore Quasimodo of contemporary poetry. Jean-Pierre Gaudreau is member of the Union of the écrivaines and the Québécois writers since 1998.
