Jean-Pierre David , (1717, Seyssel (Haute-Savoie) - 1784, Rouen) is a Médecin French of the XVIIIe century.

It gains many suggested prices by learned societies, to devote itself to the Chirurgie over the offers of Lamartinière. Its academic successes made known it famous surgeon Lecat who gave him his only daughter in marriage and intended it to succeed to him in its place for the Hôtel-Dieu of Rouen.
